13000088_1054258237967271_6589881779453284627_nLake Candles was established by Kansas City local married couple James and Lainey Lake. This fabulous find is one of our favorite go-to gifts.   These soy candles are hand-poured and made with all products from the United States. They are also beautifully boxed and the design represents not just the name, but the feel of each hand-made candle. The top of the box is a shade of pink which is meant to represent the sunset over the bottom part of the box which represents the topography of a lake. An added touch, the delta sign is in place of the ‘A’ in LAKE to represent the alchemy symbol for fire. The candles are 10 oz and the smells are fantastic! We like “Brookside Bouquet” and “Royal Romance” as shout-outs to KC love!

Our Favorite for Fall: The Pumpkin Chai Lake Candle

This candle makes us think of all things Fall. Burn this candle and your house will be filled with the wonderful aroma of “pumpkin and spice with notes of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg, served with creamy milk.”

Lake Candles can be found at many local stores including all locations of Made in KC, HMK on the Plaza and The Garment District downtown. They can also be purchased online at Lake Candle’s website.

This amazing local find is sure to make a great hostess gift or great gift for the holidays! Lake candles can also be found on Facebook and Instagram.  #ShopLocal #SupportLocal #LocalFind #PromoteKC #KansasCity
