Happy Fall: Time to Wrap Up in Warmth

Though the first day of Fall brought us temperatures in the 90s, many of us are already thinking about our Autumn and Winter wardrobe shifts. The leaves will start to turn and cold air is on it’s way in. We have found a great local find to help you keep warm this year: Selling Warmth.

Spread Warmth: to create a culture of authentic love, enthusiasm, and kindness everywhere you go.

The enterprise started as a small Etsy shop in 2014. Since then, its purpose has grown and now Selling Warmth is the answer for modern women who desire luxurious quality knitwear that is simple and easy to style on-the-go. The handmade pieces, made from 100% wool, linen, and cotton from the United States, are a way to express true personality with a timeless minimal look.

Christian, who started her budding career as a top-seller in the Girls Scouts, showed her entrepreneurial spirit during her early years as an undergraduate student in college. It started with a pushy request for a bright purple crocheted hat and began to grow. Since then, she has created unique pieces to fuel her love for fashion and home decor.

Supporting Selling Warmth is supporting our community. Every item is beautifully knitted and packaged in house by local people. The choices are amazing- soft hats, scarves and sweaters to keep you warm throughout the cold Winter. With humble beginnings in Kansas City, Christian continues to lead Selling Warmth to new heights and we are happy to support this local find. These warm and rich-in-color pieces can be found at local stores Made In KC and Clothes Minded in Westport as well as on their website http://sellingwarmth.com/
