Benny’s Berries: Locally grown strawberries ready to pick!
Summer in KC is quickly approaching and nothing says summer like fresh strawberries! Thanks to our friend and local owner at the Crop Stop, we have found an outstanding patch to highlight this season!
Benny’s Berries, a locally owned strawberry patch, started its first picking season this year. It opened in late April and now offers two ways to enjoy these delicious fresh strawberries: “U-Pick” boxes for $3.50 per pound and “Pre-picked” boxes for $4.50 per pound. Benny’s Berries provides the picking box that can be taken home. What a wonderful activity to share with the kids on a sunny day in May! Located in South Kansas City, not far from Deanna Rose or the Overland Park Aboretum, this is a perfect family destination.
