Wine Walk on Delaware
Wine Walk on Delaware is an event to share the charming atmosphere and rich history of Delaware Street with Kansas City locals through a seasonal wine tasting event hosted by an eclectic mix of Delaware Street establishments. Wine Walk on Delaware takes place on August 15, 2015 from 5-8 and is open to the public, but it is not recommended to young children because alcohol is served! Artists and music is also featured! Tickets are $15.
Don’t want to drive downtown? Enjoy your wine out south at K.C. Wine Co! Enjoy free samplings, live music, 15% off the bottle price of our wine of the week, $5 wine flights, and so much more! August 13-16 at the Vineyard 12:00-8:00pm with live music 6:00-8:00pm!
Arts and Crafts Festival 2015
Screeland Armour’s annual celebration of all things beer, music, movies and art! This year we have ramped up the awesomness with even more rare and exclusive beers than ever before!

Movies not your thing? How about BACONFEST– because who doesn’t like BACON!
Bacon is awesome! So why not dedicate a day to it? Enjoy all things bacon while helping children and adults who are newly disabled get back on the road of life. Proceeds benefit The Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City (RIKC). Located at Ameristar Casino & Bar, on August 22, 2015, local restaurants will serve up samples of creative bacon fare while you enjoy a cold beer, unique bacon drinks and live music. All guests will receive a commemorative drink cup to enjoy your beer in at the event & a Bacon-Fest t-shirt. Tickets on sale here.
Finally, Summer Restaurant Week is back in the Power and Light District! This special week offers deals on restaurants and bars in P&L – lunch for $10-15 per person and 3 course dinners for $25-30! Running from August 22nd-30th, all details can be found here!
